Northern East Part of Cambodia is a region of Cambodia and includes the provinces of Kratie, Stung Treng, Rattanakiri, Mondulkiri this include: wildlife, dolphin and home to exotic hill tribes and ethnic minority groups known as chunchiet or khmer loeu (Upper Khmer). and on the stretch of the Mekong River between Kratie and Steung Treng, the last remaining freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins in Cambodia.
- Kratie – a tiny town of northeastern of Cambodia and provide good accommodation budget.
- Stung Treng – many tourists heading to/from Laos pass through here, though few stay long as Banlung and Kratie
- Rattanakiri – is the place to go for trekking, eco-travel and natural beauty and greatest adventures
- Mondulkiri – features unique rolling hills, fine country views, wild natural landscapes, jungles, multiple of waterfalls and a unique indigenous culture.
