Although partly protecting flora and fauna of international conservation priority, the park is under serious threat from illegal logging in the region. Overview Virachey National Park was established in 2004 by MoE (Ministry of Environment). With its 3.325 square kilometers, Virachey National Park is the largest National Park among seven other National Parks in Cambodia.
